Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 90 minutes

Ingredients:
4 lb whole chicken
¼ cup kosher salt, coarse
2 tbls garlic powder
2 tbls course ground pepper
1 12-oz can beer, (do not recommend Light beer)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a bowl combine the salt, garlic powder and pepper. Evenly rub seasoning all over the chicken, being sure to get under the skin and on the meat.

Pour, or drink, 6-oz of beer out of the can and place the chicken on top of the can so the chicken stands up.

Place on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Cook for 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before carving. Serve and Enjoy!
