Impress your family and friends with this unique french toast recipe. The warmth of the cinnamon custard is comforting enough but with the added crunch on the outside will make this like no other french toast you’ve tasted before.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Loaf Challah Bread, sliced in 1 inch slices
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk or Half-n-Half
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 3 cups Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, crushed


Directions:
Preheat a griddle to medium-high heat, also preheat the oven to 300˚F.

In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon and salt.

In another large bowl add in the Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, using your hands crush the cereal. 

Taking 1 slice of bread at a time and dip into the egg custard then dip into the crush cereal. Place each slice onto the pre greased griddle. Repeat the process with all the slices of bread. Cook on the griddle for 2 minutes per side then place into the preheated oven for an additional 10 minutes. 

Take french toast out of the oven and serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup and enjoy!
