AMATEUR KITCHEN

Pizza-tizers are an elegant yet fun appetizer to serve at your next backyard BBQ.

Serves: 12
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 9 minutes

Ingredients:
1 Pizza Dough, cut into discs (Recommend: Pillsbury Pizza Dough, Thin Crust)
3 tbls Olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
½ tsp Oregano
8 oz Ricotta Cheese, divided
4 oz Arugula, divided
3 oz Prosciutto, torn and divided
Parmesan Cheese, garnish

Directions:
Preheat grill to a medium heat.

Roll out pizza dough to thin layer and cut out round disks from the pizza dough. (Depending on how big your cutter is will depend on how many disks you get.)

In a bowl combine olive oil, salt, pepper and oregano. Spread oil mixture on one side of the pizza disks. Place pizza disks on the grill, oil side down, then oil the other side. Flip the pizza disks after 2 minutes and cook on the other side for another 2 minutes.

Take pizza disks off of the grill and turn the grill to a low heat. Evenly top pizza disks with the ricotta cheese, arugula and prosciutto. Place pizza disks back on the grill, not on direct heat. And cook for another 5 minutes. Shred parmesan cheese over top for garnish, serve and enjoy!
