There is no better pair then salty and sweet and this combination comes to life with our ham and maple syrup glaze. Ham is a staple at Easter time for our family but this recipe would also be great for those first time entertainers throughout the year.

Cook: 40 minutes


Ingredients:

4 lb Spiral Ham 

1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup

1/4 cup Brown Sugar

1 tsp Dijon Mustard

1 tsp Cinnamon


Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place ham in a roasting pan, insert a digital thermometer into the middle of the ham and cover pan with aluminum foil. Put the ham in the oven and see below for cooking times based on size of ham.Meanwhile, add the maple syrup, brown sugar, dijon mustard and cinnamon to a small sauce pan and place over medium heat and cook until sugar has dissolved; about 5 minutes.Reference cooking times below for when to start basting. No matter the size of the ham, 144 degrees is desired doneness. Serve and Enjoy!

EXTRA:Soy and Orange Glaze:Ingredients:1/4 Soy Sauce, reduced sodium1 Orange, zested and juiced1/4 cup Brown SugarDirections:Stir all ingredients into a small sauce pan and cook on medium heat until sugar has dissolved then basted onto the ham.
