Miso soup is a classic Japanese soup. Amateur Kitchen is showing you how easy this soup is to make.
6 tbls miso paste (soybean paste)
4 tsp dashi powder
1 package of silken tofu into cubes
8 oz of shitake mushrooms, sliced (optional)
Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil and stir in the dashi powder, then turn heat down to simmer. Ladle 1 ½ cups of broth into a separate bowl and whisk together with the miso paste until dissolved into the broth. Then slowly stir the mixture back into the pot of dashi broth. Cut up tofu, mushrooms and scallions and place into the broth and stir. Serve and Enjoy!
