Celebrate this 4th of July with a fun and patriotic chocolate covered pretzel along with a light and refreshing drink.
25 Long Pretzel Sticks
16 oz White Chocolate
2 - 3oz bottles Red, White and Blue Sprinkles
Fill a medium size sauce pan with 1-2 inches of water and place over low heat, bring to a simmer. Place a heat proof bowl on top of the simmering water making sure that the bowl does not touch the water, if it does carefully pour out a little water into the sink and then test again to make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Then add in the white chocolate and stir until chocolate is just melted.
Take the bowl of chocolate off the pan and begin to coat 3/4 of the pretzel stick in the chocolate. Then roll the pretzel in the sprinkles and lay the pretzel on parchment paper to harden. Repeat the process with the remaining pretzels, serve and enjoy!
*Tip: Place in the refrigerator to harden the chocolate quicker.
4 oz Lemon-Lime Soda
1 oz Vodka (optional)
Raspberries & Blueberries
In a glass add in ice, then the lemon-lime soda and vodka. Garnish with a few raspberries and strawberries, serve and enjoy!
