A creamy peanut butter filling surrounded by chocolate makes this a classic Halloween treat even you can make in your own kitchen.

Ingredients:

14 oz Chocolate Chips, divided

1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

1/2 cup Powdered Sugar

2 Tbsp Butter, softened

Directions:

Place cupcake liners into a cupcake pan. In a bowl melt 7 oz of the chocolate chips by placing the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, take the bowl out and stir. Repeat this process until the chocolates are almost completely melted then let the residual heat continue to melt them, about 90-120 seconds.

Using a small ice cream scoop or a tablespoon, spoon in the chocolate evenly on the bottom of the cupcake liners. To move the chocolate to the sides of the liner gently tap the cupcake pan on the countertop. Place into the freezer for 15 minutes to allow for the chocolate to harden.

While the chocolate is hardening beat together in a large bowl the peanut butter, powdered sugar and butter.

After the first layer of chocolate has harden spoon the peanut butter over top of the chocolate evenly, about 1 tablespoon per cupcake liner, again tapping the cupcake pan to spread out the peanut butter. Place back in the freezer for an additional 15 minutes.

After the peanut butter has harden repeat the process of melting the rest of the chocolate chips and evenly distributing the melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture and tapping it to fully cover the peanut butter. Freeze for another 15 minutes, then remove the cupcake liner and enjoy.

*Can be enjoyed with semisweet, bittersweet, milk or even white chocolate.
